I was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey. In 1970, my family and I moved and resided in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1979, we returned to the United States and resided in Cape Coral, Florida. Upon the next day of our arrival I turned 17 years old. While attending my Senior year at Cape Coral High School, I commenced TIICO-Translating Interpreting International Company, located first in Cape Coral and then in Fort Myers, Florida. I received my Associates in Arts Degree as an Accounting major at Edison Community College in Fort Myers. I then continued my education at the University of South Florida in Tampa where I received my Bachelor of Arts and Letters Degree with a major in Spanish and a minor in Business. Since 1987, I hold a current State of Florida, Department of Education, Academic Teaching Certificate for Spanish and Business Education for grades 7 through 12. I went on to take extensive graduate coursework in Criminology at the University of South Florida in Fort Myers. I have fulfilled training at the 1990 Agnese Haury Institute for Interpretation with the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Also I have passed the three part test of the Consortium for the State of Florida Court Interpreter Certification: Part I General Language Proficiency, Part II Court Related Terms & Usage, and Part III Ethics & Professional Conduct.
